Coaches go through an in depth training process through the USA Football organization. Every coaching volunteer receive first aid and CPR training and certifications. Back ground checks are conducted on all adults who are involved to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Safety is our number one concern and we take it seriously. Offering the highest rated equipment and ensuring the most up to date skills and techniques are being taught. Every year board members and coaches will be recertified and updated on standard procedures.
Our organization supports any child who shows an interest in playing football by making the sport more accessible. Rather than athletes having to buy their own, they will be provided the most innovative and modern equipment offered for the sport.
Our organization values winning and encourages competitive attitudes, but not at the expense of sportsmanship. Age appropriate coaching and football education for all athletes is our goal. Class, discipline, and effort are core values that are an essential piece of our coaching philosophy.
Granbury Youth Football is a non profit youth sports league for ages 5-12. Our league is unique in the way that each athlete is supplied a helmet, pads, and mouth guards for the duration of the season rather than being required to purchase their own. Every athlete pays an affordable one time seasonal registration fee. This removes the economic and financial barrier of entry to the sport of youth football for our community.
Thanks to our generous community partners, scholarships will also be provided for athletes who have an interest in playing but may still require financial assistance. To learn more about our scholarships click the Learn More button below.
